Zujar also has an infant junior and secondary school plus a weekly market held on Saturday mornings in Plaza Mayor. The Town Hall also organises lots of cultural and sporting events for residents such as fiestas live music dance shows free outdoor cinema and Zumba classes star gazing sessions and guided local walks to name just a few. There are also free Spanish classes available in both Baza Freila only 10 15 minutes away. Several local neighbours attend and it is a great way of meeting new people. Zujar is also very close to Lake Negratin which is less than 10 minutes away. Freila beach is a wonderful place to relax and the all year bar restaurant there serves great tapas food. The Club Nautico (down on the lake by the pantano) offer kayaks pedalos and paddle boards for hire plus you can have lessons too. A great way to get fit have fun and make the most of the beautiful scenery!
